One of our favorites lately is Nerd Fitness. Blogger Steve Kamb combines humor and “nerd culture” with simple ideas to put fitness first in your life. The blog features practical tips and knowledge about exercise and nutrition, as well as simple and tasty meal recipes.
What we like most, beside the callbacks to “Lord of the Rings,” “Game of Thrones” and other sci-fi and fantasy references, is Kamb’s positivity. He writes in a way that makes readers feel welcome, and more importantly, makes them feel like they can really make a change.
“If I do my job right, you’ll wake up every day a little healthier than you were yesterday – eat a little better, get a little stronger, run a little faster, and feel a little better about yourself,” Kamb says. “If you are willing to work hard, educate yourself, and stay consistent, you can achieve results that lasts for the rest of your life.”
