News came out recently that people are suing FitBit, alleging its devices aren’t tracking their data accurately enough. So CNBC writer Eric Chemi had a question: What would happen if he wore 10 fitness trackers at once? Would the results show that trackers aren’t as accurate as they could be? Or that one is better than another?
Chemi ran the devices through three tests; counting steps, heart rate and total distance. Turns out, the fitness trackers all came pretty close, but they diverged from each other slightly.
